      <image:caption>I help high achievers who feel frustrated, alone, stressed, and at the end of their rope; step into a free, joyous, aligned life. I believe the body and mind are one, that the emotional body and the physical body are connected. I help you heal your physical body and your emotional body through conscious movement, meditative breath, nutritional therapies, and alignment techniques. True health is found through a holistic system of tools: emotional health, movement, and nourishment.  The entire system needs to be addressed on the road to stress-free total embodied health. I started Mindful Movement to help others let go of stress, self-hatred, and the feeling that they always have to do things alone. To allow them to heal from illness, both emotional and physical. Mindful Movement is about being mindful in our journey and moving towards wellness by mending our relationship with ourselves, food, our goals, and others. The podcast (mindful mastery) and mindful movement collective were created to help educate you and help you achieve whole health through my compassionate understanding of the human condition.       <image:title>Home - The Mind Body Connection</image:title>
      <image:caption>After years of coaching clients through diets and movement, I found a common problem in the fitness industry. No one was addressing the ENTIRE person. In fact, no one was addressing the REAL problem. Every program was fitness-focused and the diets were restrictive and unsustainable. I started Mindful Movement to help people welcome a new way of being; release old stories and physical/emotional pain to heal fully. Stop the abusive diet cycles and negative self-talk. Our physical bodies will keep the emotional score - our bodies will hold onto stress, anger, trauma, sadness, etc. These stored emotions will manifest in the body - through symbols, in my case I developed an autoimmune disease. The physical and emotional bodies are one. In my experience, most high achievers do not want to acknowledge, bring to the surface, or look at their emotional pain. To look at yourself as in “pain” may feel weak, ridiculous, or untrue. We would rather take care of others, achieve, and find worth through work or service to others. I understand, this is safe, this is what we learned as children. Emotional stress/pain are stories you have been carrying around since childhood, they can sound like: “I’m not good enough”, “I need to earn love”, “I will never…”, etc. In order to heal and move on from pain, you need to address your entire being. I believe wellness is a holistic system with three main pillars: movement, nourishment, and emotional health, these knit the soma (body) to the psyche (mind). MM focuses on all three of these pillars in order to help clients mend their relationship with themselves, so they can heal both their emotional and physical bodies. Being healed means MOVING as you did in your youth into old age, it means aligning with your true purpose and power, and becoming WHO you truly are. Here at MM we release limiting beliefs and empower you to truly feel aligned. Move your body. Lose your mind. Find your soul.</image:caption>

A personal trainer, health and wellness coach, breathwork facilitator, corrective exercise specialist, yoga teacher, and clinical psychology student. I have over eleven years of experience as a personal trainer and nutrition coach with an emphasis on gut health. As I trained my clients I found a huge gap in the industry. It was so disjointed and no one could give results that lasted. Why? Because they never addressed the root issues. The “pod”, as we call it around here, is my effort to get to those roots and teach others how to transform their lives. They created unhealthy habits and a narrative that our bodies weren't enough. The dirty secret about the fitness industry is that they focus on breaking you down so that you need them. If you are hungry to be enough and broken by the system they can sell you on a dream and they never fulfill it. Leaving many of us walking around the realm of hungry ghosts, always seeking more when we are more, we are enough. I started Mindful Movement Collective to help people release their physical and emotional pain. I have curated an innovative wellness space that incorporates every aspect of whole health. I believe wellness is a holistic system with three main pillars: movement, nourishment, and psychology. MM focuses on all three of these pillars in order to heal clients and allow them to release their physical and emotional pain. My hope is to open your eyes to the idea that you are enough.
